Mission

Since 2003, the Compassion Advocacy Network has done what its name implies-we advocate for a more compassionate world and put that advocacy into action. Our focus involves simple acts of kindness that benefit isolated senior citizens by conducting one-to-one visitations and combating food insecurity by providing supplemental food. We work to prevent senior homelessness, assist with medical expenses and equipment needs for cancer patients, and provide financial and life skills training for seniors and young adults with learning challenges.

Programs

1 program

Operation T.I.D.Y. served six individuals, two with learning disabilities, by keeping them from homelessness and teaching all of them to develop integrity, manage personal finances, organize their time, communicate clearly, and develop business management skills. This program helped six additional people navigate the legal system, helping them complete court-ordered restitution and court-ordered community service hours.
