Provider education: in 2024, di diabesity instute completed all requirements of the application for institutional accreditation with the american association of family medicine and obtained approval for cme accredidation for its 15 credit provider training program. We began an edit process of the companion training manual for providers. A tentative schedule for the training sessions was set however the attendence was not sufficient to run the program this year due to timing issues related to the timing of the accredidation and the provider schedules which would have fallen during back to school and holiday timing which was not amenable to provider availability. We plan to set additional training dates and formats for providers to more easily attend.

Public education: in 2024, di continued to record the weekly podcast, fat science, in conjunction with board member, andrea taylor, and journalist, mark wright, covering current topics in diabesity and seeking to dispel myths around obesity and introduce the public to concepts related to metabolic health and diabesity prevention. Subscribers from around the world included 3500 people by the end of 2024 and the podcast ranked in the top 200 for health and fitness and medicine categories in several countries.
