Other awards include: the nets(neuroendocrine tumor research)grant is a pilot research grant in molecular imaging research providing funds for a researcher in the early stages of their career to conduct new and innovative pilot projects that show potential for future support from foundations, corporations or government agencies; awards provided to the society of radiopharmaceuticals are for travel grants for young professionals to attend their meeting and obtain continuing medical education; the anger lecture is a stipend for the guest lecturer to attend the annual meeting and give the opening plenary lecture; acnm(american academy of nuclear medicine) awards are education and research grants for young professionals of the acnm such as travel awards, best scientific paper awards, and internships.
