The gala of hope foundation provides grants to local nonprofit organizations and research institutions to advance cancer diagnosis and treatment, support patients and families, and improve access to care. Grant awards are made through a competitive application and review process, with final approval by the foundation's board of directors. In 2024, the foundation awarded three (3) grants including: a) phase ii infrastructure for rural lung cancer outreach, education, and advanced imaging and diagnostic technology, b) an oncology-certified nutrition clinic for cancer patients, and c) purchase of advanced imaging and diagnostic technology to enhance a lung screening and lung nodule program.
