The GBTLA became a sponsor of the AmeriCorps program Project CHANGE during fiscal year 2007. AmeriCorps strives to Get things done in America to make people safer, smarter, and healthier. Project CHANGE placed over 23 AmericCorps members working with 14 non-profit organizations and government agencies to further the mission of the AmeriCorps program.
