To promote philanthropic activity in order to mitigate social evils for the betterment of the people of laytonville, the vicinity, and their guests.

Laytonville food bank - in december 2020, the laytonville food bank found a new home with harwood memorial park. Over 300 laytonville-area residents are served through the monthly food distribution, half of which are senior citizens.
Laytonville skateboard park - the skate park was built in february 2020 after a solid 10 years of raising funds and advocating in the community. Since laytonville is unincorporated, there are no city or county parks, so volunteers came together to make it happen. The laytonville skateboard park is "on the map and receives visitors from all over ca, the us, and international travelers!
Friends of the laytonville library - the friends came together 10 years ago and worked to raise funding to bring a county library branch to laytonville. The branch was opened in 2022 and serves on average 50 people per day. The friends also maintain weekly book sales and community activities through their store front located at the old laytonville high school.
