(a)to unite journalists in a common cause to promote and advance the interests of the community by raising funds, from which this organization makes grants and gifts to worthy charitable causes, including journalistic and educational programs.(b) to receive contributions and pay them over to organizations which are described in section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code and exempt from taxation under section 501(c)(3).
