The investors academy is dedicated to empowering marginalized individuals and families in metro atlanta by providing essential resources and support. We serve homeless veterans, the hungry, unemployed individuals, persons with disabilities, those living with (continued on pg 28)

Programs

The investors academy transitional and supportive permanent housing program is designed to assist unhoused veterans and returning citizens transitioning from incarceration. In 2024, we successfully placed 56 returning citizens from transitional housing into permanent supportive housing and secured permanent housing for over 100 unhoused veterans.beyond housing assistance, we provide essential resources such as food, hygiene products, and other basic necessities. Our housing and support programs offer comprehensive services to help service members smoothly transition from military to civilian life.additionally, all program participants receive case management, mental health support, and wraparound services. In 2024 alone, we provided support to nearly 1,300 individuals, ensuring an improved quality of life and long-term stability.

Food pantry program~ our community food pantry operates three times a week, providing essential groceries and nutritious food to individuals and families facing food insecurity. To date, we have served over 3,000 families and individuals, ensuring they have access to fresh produce, pantry staples, and protein-rich foods.we partner with the atlanta community food bank, community organizations, and donors to stock our pantry with a diverse selection of items, catering to the unique dietary needs of those we serve, including seniors, veterans, individuals with disabilities, and families with young children.beyond food distribution, our pantry also serves as a resource hub, offering information on nutrition education, meal planning, and access to additional community support services. By addressing food insecurity, we strive to alleviate hunger and promote long-term stability for those in need.
