Coordinates, develops, and encourages professionalism for Minnesota's local history community, including, but not limited to, organizing annual professional conferences, workshops, regional meetings, and other resources. Manages Minnesota consortium for CollectiveAccess, which provides public and private collections management database services for museums and history organizations.

ANNUAL CONFERENCE: MALHM elevates professionalism in the Minnesota local history field by coordinating an annual statewide conference for professional development and networking, attended by 200+ individuals.
MUTUAL ASSISTANCE: MALHM provides a volunteer Mutual Assistance Line that local history organizations can call for help finding the supplies, equipment, and volunteers they'll need to respond to a disaster, as well as Emergency Supply Caches that are strategically located all across the state.
Other Programs: MALHM offered other, smaller programs, such as Emergency Planning Workshops, a Lending Library, and the Minnesota History Awards.
