And principal investigator, mahua choudhury, ph.d. Are investigating diet and diabetes in a trans generational epigenetic study. The project seeks to predict the early onset of diabetes and advance in preventive treatment protocols for diabetes. (choudhury study)
This study is researching the impact of parentcorps in corpus christi independent school district on student emotional, mental and physical health and academic achievement in families living in poverty. Parent and teacher well-being is also investigated. Parentcorps is a comprehensive school-based, family centered intervention that promotes foundational skills in pre-kindergarten and kindergarten. The research is a collaboration with university of texas austin and new york university hospital, with dr. Esther calzada as principal investigator. (parentcorps study)
