To improve and secure the quality of life, public safety and environment of the city of nashville, its businesses, institutions and visitors by recognizing that the fraternal order of police and the law enforcement officers of the greater nashville area are a key and critical component in successfully accomplishing these objectives; and to raise, manage, invest and distribute financial resources by funding, assisting or undertaking programs and activities designed to support, enhance, and strengthen the services, organization, performance, competence, and professionalism of the fop, its officers, members, families, and the community they serve.
