Youth residential treatment center - opened in 2017, this program facility provides residential treatment to youth from federally recognized tribes throughout the state of oregon and nationwide and other potential youth fromthe local community. The nara nw youth residential treatment center (yrtc) is a 24-bed unlocked residential facility providing a multidisciplinary program of substance abuse counseling, mental health services, and health services including, primary medical care, dental care, and health education. The schedule includes individual and group counseling, life skills training, anger management, cultural education activities, medical services, mental health services and educational services.
Indian health clinic and wellness centers - located at 703 ne hancock and 12360 e burnside, both locations provide primary health care to the urban indian community and others needing services. In addition to primary care, pediatric services, including well baby/child care, women's health care such as a breast and cervical cancer early detection project, mental health counseling, substance abuse counseling, diabetes prevention program, pregnant families program, laboratory and pharmaceutical services are offered.
Outpatient treatment center - located at 1631 sw columbia street, the outpatient treatment center provides addiction treatment services to american indian and alaskan native men and women, people involved with the criminal justice system, and others needing services. Services include outpatient counseling, aftercare support, peer and recovery support mentors, duii diversion program, supportive employment services, housing and energy assistance services, and educational assistance. Treatment activities include group and individual counseling, women's support groups, talking circle meetings, mental health counseling, cultural education activities, anger management groups, community resource advocacy, and referral services.totem lodge - located at 1438 se division, the totem lodge program provides mental health counseling for those with severe and persistent adult mental health issues. Services include assessment and evaluations of mental health challenges, individual and group counseling, case management, psychiatric evaluation and medication management, intensive community services, supported employment, a&d services, cultural groups and activities, and a designated act team.adult mental health and housing services - located at 1310 sw 17th, staffing and support positions for both programs operate out of this location. The adult mental health team administration is located here, and some mental health direct services are administered from this location amongst others. The housing team administration is also mainly located here, coordinating services such as housing vouchers, short-term rental assistance, the mobile housing team, permanent supportive housing, and longer-term housing support.oyate - this site, located at 1776 sw madison, portland, is where all of nara nw administration team is located. This includes senior leadership, grants administration, finance, accounting, and human resources. The teams that work out of this location are dedicated to supporting programs administrative needs, securing and maintaining funding, and financial compliance.dental program - located at 12750 e stark, the dental program services are part of nara's system of treating the whole person. Dental services available through the dental program include baby teeth matter program, preventative dental care, restorative dental care, simple extractions, basic periodontal procedures, sports mouth guards, sealant program, and dental education.residential treatment center - located at 17645 nw st. Helens highway, the residential treatment center provides addication treatment services to american indian and alaskan native families and others needing services. The schedule includes individual and group counseling, life skills training, anger management, cultural education activities, medical services, mental health services and introduction to self-help groups such as alcoholics anonymous, narcotics anonymous, and al-anon. The child development program at the residential facility serves children from infancy to age five. Program activities include early childhood education, fetal alcohol syndrome/fetal alcohol effect early intervention services, parenting skills training, and family counseling. A satellite primary care clinic is located on-site that provides medical care and health education to the clients and families residing in the program.supporting services - located at 1776 sw madison, portland, nara nw administration provides the necessary developmental, organizational, and management support for the effective operation of the programs. Supportive services are based out of oyate alongside the entire administration team.
