The new orleans music hall of fame is dedicated to the unification, restoration, and preservation of the history and culture that has made new orleans known worldwide as the birthplace of jazz music. The nomhf was created to preserve the cultural legacy of the city of new orleans, to provide the musicians, artists, and chefs much needed recognition and support, and to create a national landmark destination for the city of new orleans.
