Outreach & education - outreach and education are key components of the non-gmo project's mission. We provide verified brands with consumer research, marketing campaigns, scientific findings, and other support so they can inform retailers and shoppers about the importance of preserving and building the non-gmo product supply chain materials and retail offerings. We directly engage the public through curated content that is shared via our social media platforms, web site (www.nongmoproject.org), publications, and events.

Food integrity collective - the food integrity collective (fic) launched in 2024 as a movement building, co-created alternative to the industrial food system. Operating at the intersection of making, sellling and buying natural retail food, fic expands the work of the non-gmo project to protect and cultivate a food system that nourishes life. The fic's 8-petal framework represents a holistic approach to food integrity that encompasses eight critical impact areas. Current focus is minimal processing & additives, including exploration of a new verficiation program for non-ultra processed foods (www.foodintegritycollective.org).
