Mission

To share in the love of jesus christ by partnering with communities in healthcare, education, economic development, and housing. The work is focused in remote locations where people are living in dirt- floor shacks, where there is a lack of sanitation, clean water, and medical care, and where educational and economic development opportunities are limited.

Programs

3 programs

The organization provides education for primary and secondary students in private homes or community buildings that also serve as schoolhouses. More than 7,000 children received reinforement classes in core subjects and nearly 1000 students received a high school education.

Expenses: $278K

Professional healthcare does not exist in most of the communities where the organization operates. The organization's goal is to provide at least basic medical services needed to relieve pain and suffering, plus keep the population healthy and free of treatable diseases. It offers support to those with special medical needs that are beyond basic medical care, not only arranging for the care, but also all the costs associated with the special treatment and/or hospital needed to treat the ailment, surgery or rehabilitation. Over 15,000 medical patients were treated and 2 million meals were served.

Expenses: $226K

The organization's economic development program provides education, training, and start up materials for individuals who want to open and run a small business of their own. Over 200 families were trained and helped start a small home or community-based business.
