The Riverton Volunteer Fire Department

Riverton Volunteer Fire Department pays the monthly contribution for its members to the Wyoming Volunteer Firefighter Pension Fund created in 1967. This plan is administered through Wyoming Statutes 35-9-616 through 35-9-628. Partial revenue for this payment comes to the RVFD from the Riverton Fire Protection District.

Uniforms, training and safety equipment are key components of providing professional fire protection services to the citizens of Riverton and surrounding areas.
