Mission
The school's mission is to discover, nurture, and protect each child's individual life and academic journey. We believe that students should have a fun, safe and rigorous educational experience that prepares them to be the leaders, innovators, and influencers of their generation.

The sae school is an independent school founded in 2011 by a group of local parents and educators to create a school that focuses on the needs of the individual student through a project based learning instructional model. Opening its doors on august 13th, 2013 with 118 students in preschool through eighth grade and grew through the years to 400. The school received accreditation through the georgia accrediting commission effective as of july 2013. There is tremendous diversity represented within the student body: 85% african american / 5% caucasian / 5% multi-ethnic / 5% hispanic. Additionally, the school serves a diverse community of learners through its inclusion education program. Students with diagnosed learning differences are fully included with additional support designed on a student by student basis to ensure that each child receives and academic experience conducive to their learning style. Fundraising efforts engaged students, parents and supporting community members to create additional support including scholarships, supplies for special events, field trip funding and other program enhancements.
