The Trail Conservancy

In 2024, significant ecological restoration work was completed Trail-wide, including shoreline restorations and stabilization, urban forestry expansion, invasive species removal, and wildflower meadow seeding. In addition, the Organization hosted 79 volunteer events totaling 3,442 volunteers, established 5,010 native plants, collected 17,897 pounds of trash, and spread 490 cubic yards of mulch to protect mature trees along the trail. The Organization hosted 48 community events. Regular programming events that are free and open to the public continues to expand to include monthly fitness series, heritage celebrations, weekly music and cultural events, education programs and expanding partner programming in collaboration with other Austin area and educations institutions.
