Programs

The university of illinois alumni association (alumni association) produces a variety of communications about the university of illinois and its alumni. The alumni association produces up to four issues per year of its alumni magazines for the urbana and springfield universities. The magazines are mailed to alumni association life members and sustaining members (i.e. Those that have met contribution criteria to the alumni association). The annual magazine circulation totals are approximately 55,000 for urbana and 15,000 for springfield. Monthly e-newsletters are provided to all alumni that provide an email address to the alumni association. The alumni association website receives an estimated 12,000 unique visitors each month. The alumni association also sends targeted, special topic emails to alumni segments throughout the year. The alumni association is also building a digital library of past alumni magazines.
The university of illinois alumni association (alumni association) operates a website at www.uiaa.org, and provides a web-based alumni network and directory for operation by alumni groups, the university of illinois alumni network. The directory provides illinois alumni with a simple way to make connections with fellow alumni worldwide. The network facilitates reconnecting with friends and former classmates, assists with searching for alumni nearby, and helps alumni of the university of illinois expand their professional networks. The alumni association also provides meaningful data analysis related to tracking alumni demographics, employment data, campus affiliations, geography, and majors.
