The westerly ambulance corps provides the highest quality emergency medical and dispatch services to the westerly community and the nearby towns in southern rhode island.

The westerly ambulance corps provides dispatch services for 13 other local area volunteer fire and ambulance associations. In 2024, the corps dispatced a total of 12,536 calls for assistance.
The corps provides training to the community for first aid, cpr, etc. As part of regularly scheduled classes or upon request of the community at large by other sponsoring organizations.
The westerly ambulance corps provides annual scholarships to students who are entering health related fields of study. The amount provided to students in 2024 was 3,000.
