Mission
The YMCA of Wayne County puts Judeo-Christian principles into practice through programs that build on four core values - caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
Programs

Aquatics - in addition to providing specific skills, these programs promote good health, teamwork, self-confidence, and leadership.
Team sports & fitness classes - include volleyball, basketball, t-ball, gymnastics, football & fitness classes are dsigned to help participants improve skills and focus on teamwork and social interaction.
The ymca of wayne county's woodland site provides excellent separate staffed youth and adult wellness centers, with cardio-vascular and strength training machines, adult free weights, a gymnasium, racquetball courts, and an aerobics studio. A variety of classes are offered including kick boxing, yoga, spinning, aerobics and pilates.
