The after school program provides quality childcare for children in grades k-6 from the end of the school day until 6 p.m. In a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment. Core curricula include a bullying-prevention program and a multicultural program that teaches children respect and fosters self-esteem.

The breast cancer resource center (bcrc) is committed to improving women's health and empowering women to take control over their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. The bcrc is dedicated to providing support and information to women and their families affected by breast cancer, and to increase understanding of the disease. Our mission is to equip every woman who reaches out to us with personalized programs and services that will enable her to live with, through, and beyond breast cancer. The bcrc's unique and comprehensive approach to breast cancer support includes education and counseling, fitness and wellness, wig and prostheses fitting, and a transportation and meal program for those currently undergoing treatment.

The english as a second language (esl) program offers over 40 esl classes to men and women with widely divergent language abilities and backgrounds. Each year, about 350 students from all over the world are enrolled in an "immersion-type" atmosphere. They become engaged in varied opportunities on the ywca campus and beyond that encourage language development to enhance the classroom instruction.
