Three Angels Childrens Relief Incorporated

Three angels christian academy: the school has educated 314 students from preschool through 9th grade this school year. The secondary school scholarship program includes 19 students who attend partnering schools as well as 24 students in our in-house 7th through 9th grade classes. Our eighth generation of students graduated high school last june. Although food prices have shown steady increase in haiti, we continue to provide hot meals for over 300 people each school day at taca when class is in session. Our resident social worker provides ongoing training for our teaching staff to identify and address trauma in the students we serve as well as designing enriching activities to sharpen critical thinking skills, reading comprehension, healthy social interaction, and cooperative activity.

Medical clinic: over the last year, our clinic had over 5,200 patient visits. For all 313 of our students, daily multivitamins are provided while school is in session, and well-child exams were conducted and included dental checks, vision checks, and anti-worming medications. The clinic stayed open all year despite recent rampant gang violence. We have partnered with another local clinic to expand services and areas of expertise; ultrasound techs, laboratory specialists, and an ophthalmologist come in weekly to help care for our patients.
