The purposes of the MCV Hospitals Auxiliary of VCUHS are to--1)Provide support for the patients, families and staff at VCUHS through service, grant funding and special activities and 2)Provide an inviting and supportive environment to encourage volunteers in their service.

The Auxiliary made a grant of $115,800 to Children's Hospital Foundation to provide financial support to The Children's Hospital of Richmond (CHoR) with equipment and/or programs not funded through the departments' budgets. CHoR is a not-for-profit hospital which, among other activities, provides substantial charitable health care to the Richmond community.
The Auxiliary awarded nursing scholarships totaling $20,000 to MCV Foundation.
