Launched in 2006, Trans|Lations: Seattle Trans Film Festival remains one of the few trans-focused film festivals in the world and a vital platform for trans, nonbinary, and gender-diverse storytelling. In 2024, the hybrid festival welcomed over 1,100 attendees across three days and 20 screenings, reaching audiences both locally and virtually. Through a diverse lineup of films, filmmaker panels, workshops, and community events, Trans|Lations created an inclusive space for visibility, representation, and joy pushing the boundaries of trans cinema with stories that were deeply human, honest, and celebratory.
Other Programs of Three Dollar Bill Cinema include: Reel Queer Youth, Outdoor Cinema, and our Queer Screenwriting Accountability Group.
