Student Housing Rent, Utilities, Pay, FoodThrive Academy funded two separate student houses. Thrive Academy paid for rent and utilities for each house and contracted with a boys house leader and a girls house leader for the student housing. Each of these leaders ran their own unique program with the students and were not under the direct oversight of the Thrive director. Each house leader had at least four students in the student housing with them and the students showed remarkable spiritual and emotional progress and character development which was observable when the students came to school and participated in their classes. Students in the student housing showed increased social, emotional and academic development compared to their peers.
