Housing services - as a federal "housing authority", thrive behavioral health administers a mainstream housing choice voucher program for people with disabilities and is also a certified sponsoring agency for rhode island housing's roadhome rental assistance program.through the continuum of care grants and the cooperative agreement to benefit homeless individuals, the organization provides outreach, placement and supportive services for homeless persons.additionally, thrive behavioral health and its subsidiary companies develop, own and manage apartments and houses that are available for rent by thrive behavioral health clients, as well as the general public.
Youth and family services - a full range of specialized services are provided under a "family-centered" treatment approach to children and youth who face emotional or behavioral health challenges, or who have experienced trauma. This treatment philosophy views the entire family as the client and the treatment may be provided in the home or community, as well as, in the traditional office setting. Services include individual, group and family counseling, case management, psychiatry, play therapy, add/adhd diagnosis and evaluation, and specialized treatment programs.
The eleanor briggs school is a leader in the field of special education and mental health for children whose behavioral and emotional difficulties significantly impede their progress in public school. In an environment that promotes learning and growth, students are able toachieve their full potential. This is why, for over 30 years, families and educators throughout rhode island have turned to the eleanor briggs school. The briggs model is also engaged within the public school setting through a community partnership with a counseling component to assist students in meeting targeted credits necessary for graduation.
Adult general outpatient services - a wide ranfe of psychiatric, individual, group and family counseling services are provided to adults. Issues of mental health, substance use and trauma recovery are addressed in a conceted effort as part of a holistic approach to therapy. There are also programs for targeted populations such as victims of trauma, victims of crime, and uninsured clients with substance use issues.
