Programs

1 program

Behind the Walls:Over the course of the last fiscal year, Thrive For Life has continued to forge faith community partnerships to support our retreat programming behind the prison walls throughout New York State. Each week, Fr. Zach and trained mentors visit one of six different correctional facilities to offer classical, meditative resources for an examined life to our incarcerated brothers and sisters with the help of various parishes who provide supplies and mentors to assist in this endeavor. We continue to forge close relationships with well over 50+ parishes throughout the Archdiocese of New York and the Diocese of Brooklyn, each of whom are committed to our mission to transform lives. We have leveraged these relationships to extend our retreat programming, as well, to families impacted by incarceration where we once again held our Day of Prayer for Our Incarcerated Brothers and Sisters in Corona, Queens at Our Lady of Sorrows Church.
