Tippecanoe senior center. An activity center open to individuals 55+ years of age offering education programs, art classes, exercise classes, support groups, social activities and lunch time meal service. Hours are m-f 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. Closed for major federal holidays. 413 individuals visited the center in 2024.
Senior home assistance repair program (sharp). This program provides low-moderate income senior homeowners with home repairs and accessibility accommodations to enable them to safely age in place. Common projects include furnaces, air conditioning, hand rails, grab bars, high rise toilets and roof repairs. All repairs are contracted with local licensed repair companies. This program provided 20 repair projects in 2024.
