Safetyleaders.org: tmit provides concepts, tools, and resources on its free website, www.safetyleaders.org. Tmit staff travels to national patient safety and quality meetings and gathers the best thinking and best practices for emerging quality issues as well as reviews articles relevant to quality and patient safety. These are in turn distilled into material that is available free of charge to all hospitals that are part of the tmit research test bed of 3100 hospitals in 3000 communities. (there is no charge to the community of practice). Tmit r&d is driven by collaboration with its 500 subject matter expert pool. The net expert pool grows by more than 20 per year factoring in attrition. The healthcare innocence project at www.healthcareinnocenceproject.org was launched to rescue professional caregiver whistleblowers and patients suffering from medical error from weaponization of internet by organizations and the press. Med tac global - med tac global - in 2022 we continued to serve our national research testbed with monthly 90-minute live broadcasts serving our constituency of patient safety and healthcare quality improvement professionals for a total of 12 broadcasts. They were produced as full mini-documentaries and streamed in full video length. In may of 2022 we expanded the program to produce every webinar as a podcast provided for free through spotify, amazon, and a number of other podcast venues. In march of 2020 we launched the coronavirus community of practice which we continued to operate into 2022 with 9 produced in the year. They were also produced as podcasts. We continued to manage a team of experts and community leaders from md anderson, mayo clinic, university of california irvine, university of california san francisco, harvard affiliated hospitals, and stanford medical center to tackle both patient safety covid crisis. We expanded both programs to reach universities, colleges, and institutions of higher learning. Our covid focus continued to be on breaking family transmission chains in the 16 industry sectors defined by the department of homeland security as essential critical infrastructure workers. All programs were offered for free. The education sector was added in august of 2020 by dhs. We launched and conducted an ongoing study of 1,000 family households and measured the 5 r's: readiness, response, rescue, recovery, and resilience. It to date is still the world's largest study of its kind. The research in 2021 and 2022 continued to reinforce our two discoveries: first that "family transmission chains" were the achilles heel of our workforce. Second, that the general public wanted to be trained with the first responder families and essential workers. This research provided the input to develop 90-minute educational broadcasts which were converted into online enduring content. As the focus on covid started to abate nationally, we expanded our focus on medical emergencies striking the public before emergency medical services and professional first responders arrived. We produced educational videos and posted them on our website and authored a number of papers. Our programs were endorsed by the american hospital association, were reviewed and forwarded to organizations by infectious disease leaders at the center for disease control. We made the commitment to operate the coronavirus community of practice until the crisis is over. As of the end of 2022 we produced 21 90-minute broadcasts all for free. We continued to provide community service, produce continuing education programs, and developed innovations in bystander rescue care throughout 2022. We developed programs and undertook threat assessment systems for schools k-12, college, and graduate degree programs. We placed bystander rescue stations at beaches, schools, faith-based organizations, and continued to train emts, doctors, nurses, educators, and students. We developed programs to identify preventable harm to students and families along coastlines. (80%)

Chasing zero - leaders' toolboxes: tmit continues to provide a dvd set of materials to leverage "chasing zero and now "surfing the healthcare tsunami: bring your best board" documentaries to hospital leadership and front-line performance teams.
