FUNDRAISING EVENTS, SPONSORSHIPS, & OPERATIONSFundraising events and Sponsorships lend support for the Program operations. TNT hosts several events throughout the year that provide awareness to those we serve, volunteer engagement, and community collaboration with other agencies.TNT has four annual fundraising events: TNT's Winter Challenge which is a Women's USA Gymnastics/Xcel programs where its athletes compete with gymnastics clubs around the tri-state area MN, SD, and ND. This event supports the competitive program. This product allows TNT to extend their mission outside its community to support physical education teachers in adapting to include individuals with special needs and build relationships between students in general education and special needs.TNT's ABLE Games are an all-inclusive functional fitness competition that celebrates all abilities, from the highly skilled athlete to the individual with special needs competing side-by-side. There are no barriers to competition. This competition brings awareness to ability and showcases to our attendees, sponsors, and educators their abilities far exceed expectations. ABLE Games is part of the ABLE In School curriculum and for the first time in the history of high school sports, children with and without special needs get to compete representing their school. In 2021, TNT hosted the Inaugural ABLE Games, an inclusive functional fitness competition to support all abilities. A vision of Fargo native, Connor McGovern and TNT. This inclusive, functional fitness competition was the first of its kind! Connor and his illustrious group of CrossFit world-wide athletes, Mat Fraser, Sam & Jenn Dancer, Matt O'Keefe, friends and family which provided an energy and awareness that cannot be compared. With Connor's support the event has grown significantly and is now being implemented into schools in ND & MN.Giving Hearts Day, a 24-hour on-line fundraising event where community partners, team members and families come to support this event to raise dollars for a specific program, designated piece of equipment, or to support all programs. A community-wide event is hosted at TNT to bring others to participate and be involved in our mission, movement! This area of TNT's operation is growing and markets to generate other streams of income that do not conflict with other TNT programming but enhances our vision and mission by reaching out to the community. TNT created annual sponsorships to support each fundraising event. One program design supports an annual Break the Barriers Partners. 'Break the Barriers' Partner Program is composed of thriving businesses in our community. Their gracious investments directly impact programs to continue to provide opportunities for children and individuals of all abilities to unlock their potential through movement. This sponsorship supports operations. In 2014, TNT Kid's Fitness initiated a capital campaign to expand space. This space allowed TNT to reach capacity by serving over 2,000 individuals weekly, 16 programs, 51 collaborations and onsite partners, the Anne Carlsen Center and Learn 'n Move childcare. The expansion focused on programs and services for children and adults with special needs thus impacting an under-served population that is desperately wanting more opportunities.Through the years TNT has received multiple achievements which include 2015 Chamber Choice Non-Profit of the Year, 2015 Women of the Year in the category of Advocating for Equality and 2017, 2018, 2019 Top 4 Fundraiser in Giving Hearts Day event, 2021-2024 "Locals Love Us" in the category of Best in Tumbling and Gymnastics. 2022 Chamber People's Choice Award.
