Support the research and development mission of tougaloo college and other historically black colleges and universities by forming and managing research and contract partnerships research entities that conduct a substantial amount of federal research and contracts.

Redi: the rural economic deveopment initiative program supports rural communities and diversifies local economies from planning and startup through expansion. This free twelve-week program provides on-site and virtual training sessions for mississippi business owners and prospective business owners in adams, claiborne, jefferson, and wilkinson counties.

DARPA: The project enhanced outreach, education, and technology transition for non-traditional defense performers, demonstrating TCRDF's ability to build networks and foster collaboration.

Mantel technologies: mt in participation with the applied research institute (ari) team with tcrdf to ensure non-traditional hbcu/min and small businesses are successfully engaging with darpa. Ari/tcrdf's process for recruiting non-traditional researchers, technology development, and enabling and enhancing federal technology transfer is built around four stages which are supported by a c continuing convene and connect (c&c) activity. Tcrdf conducts active outreach to hbcus and to increase faculty sign-ups for darpaconnect, us. Team plans, schedules, and conducts ambassador training to introduce the ambassadors to darpa, darpaconnect, and the types of research that we are seeking.

AWS:TCRDF formed a partnership with AWS and secured funds to produce a technology certification program.

Mansion: the state of mississippi grant funds are restricted for development of mansion property at tougaloo college. Revenue is interest earned on balance in bank account, wherein remaining grant proceeds reside. No expenses were incurred in 2023.
