Mission

We engage north carolina in initiatives that advance environmental health and justice by advocating for safe alternatives to harmful pesticides and chemicals.

Programs

1 program

Through the just and sustainable agriculture program, toxic free nc promotes the expansion of pesticide-free, local food, and the protection of north carolina's agricultural workers and unique ecology. We highlight impacted species and environments as indicators of the distress caused by pesticide pollution and support coalition building among farmworkers and advocates as well as organic-practicing farmers in socially disadvantaged communities across our state.
