A self-sustaining and community driven effort to improve health, food security, education, and economic development in rural Cambodia.

Food Security Program 1. Training Course: Conducted 51 courses on Integrated farming systems, Homestead garden training, Soil management training, Fertilizer and pesticide application techniques, Composting techniques training, Chicken raising training and practices. Benefited = 686 farmers. 2. Chicken Farms: Re-Established chicken farm I with 500 chicks in Kok Thmey village Donkev commune Pouk district. Provided the checken feed making machine, chicken feed, chicken medicine, Provided money for repairs to the chicken house and other things. Allowed other farmers to tour facility to gain training and better understanding of raising chickens. Selected a farmer to inherit the chicken farm projects from Chicken Farm I. 250 chicks were donated to this farmer in hopes that this person will be the local chicken supplier in the future. 3. Lvea Farmer Community Group: Established a farmer group village fund and savings. Added more soil, and restored ponds for water storage. Provided farming equipment and tools. Established important connections for farmers to local suppliers.
Education Program 1. Completed 2 new school buildings. 2. Distributed 4,500 toothbrushes to students, teachers and parents. 3. Distributed 25 bicycles. 4. Distributed 10 electronic and computer devices to schools in need. 5. Distributed uniforms to 60 students.
Economic Development Program 1. Followed up with 189 VF refreshment trips (Goal 41) 2. Made 5 introduction trips to introduce Village fund and Group saving 3. Established 4 (Goal 4) New village fund and Saving group committees.
