Advocacy / outreach / educationconnecting st. Louis: tower grove ave and tucker blvd are approved for construction in 2025. Trailnet's successful advocacy and education efforts help secure funding for 34.1 new miles of bike infrastructure in stl. Drive the change campaign spread the word about the new hands free law, securing 1,000 new buckle up phone down pledges in 2024. Complete streets for all project trailnet attended 207 advocacy meetings and events to listen to community needs and educate residents about traffic violence, and build support for street infrastructure that follows complete streets best practices. Complete streets provide accountability to align street improvements with community needs and desires.

Rides / eventstrainet brought 105,649 miles of smiles to 3,029 people at 13 trailnet bike rides this year with our full season of rides. Free classes included 89 people who learned basic bike maintenance skills or how to fix a flat tire at 13 classes hosted in partnership with libraries, schools, and other community partners. Free bike rodeos provided children with a fitted helmet and bike skills like riding in a straight line, stopping, and changing directions. 119 kiddos joined our seven bike rodeos this year!trailnet's work falls into four categories: advocacy, education, and planning.
