Mission

The mission of Trailspring Inc. is to improve the health and activity level of the Springfield area by creating and maintaining a network of multi-use trails. Through this network, provide measurable economic impact in order to engage community enterprises to contribute to the education and construction of this network and further perpetuate the health of the community.

Programs

TrailSpring completed phase one of Dirt 66 at Fellows Lake, in Springfield MO. Phase one includes approximately 25 miles of single track trails traversing the perimeter of Fellows Lake. The trail system hosted multiple mountain bike events in 2023, including a National Interscholastic Cycling Association ("NICA") race with approximately 500 youth racers. The trails were constructed by three different trail contractors, and are maintained by a trail manager and volunteers. Full details can be found at trailspring.org
