The corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code. The specific purposes of the corporation shall include, but not be limited to:1. Offering assistance, encouragement, and a sense of belonging to alleviate distress within the community particularly among individuals affected by alcoholism.2. Educating individuals grappling with alcoholism (and/or addiction to benzodiazepines) and their families about the dangers of withdrawal.3. Supporting individuals in recovery and their loved ones in developing strategies to prevent relapse.4. Providing sober environments for individuals in recovery and their support systems to counteract feelings of solitude and isolation.
