Education and Resources:Digitial Inclusion workshops are informational sessions concerning housing and other community-based resources. Since the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2019, TAJAs has hosted monthly convenings. Each workshop averages at least 10 attendees. Participation is documented through sign-in sheets, both in hard copy and electronically.The purpose of this program is to provide community members with a space to voice concerns and current needs related to public service access, employment opportunities, and barriers to stability and growth. Concerns raised during the workshops are recorded in meeting notes and shared with city and county officialsparticularly the Office of Initiativesfor consideration in the development of future programs. The workshops also serve as a venue for service providers to conduct outreach and connect participants to other relevant community-based organizations.Service Provider Education training sessions, launched in October 2019, aim to educate housing providers on inclusive practices and improve the accessibility and safety of existing shelter and housing programs. Each session includes an average of 40 participants. Attendance is documented via sign-in sheets and electronically.The goal of these trainings is to support organizational development by improving program policies and staff practices related to equitable service delivery. TAJA also engages in quality assurance efforts, providing follow-up recommendations to housing providers to enhance operational practices and promote safe, respectful environments for all residents. Ongoing staff support and post-training evaluation are built into the training model to ensure lasting impact.
