Transition Basketball Of Michigan

Transition Academy is a community based youth mentoring program that utilizes an athlete's love of sport to motivate and inspire them to excel academically. Its mission is to form a holistic relationship that connects education and athletics to enhance academic outcomes for its participants. The goal is to promote self-efficacy that manifests both in the classroom as well as the challenges they will face throughout their lives. Formed in 2004, many of its participants have already completed their post-secondary education and are pursuing their life goals.
