Adaptive therapeutic riding: individuals with disabilities, specifically developmental, cognitive, and behavioral, focus on their personal therapeutic goals and everyday living skills through learning to ride a horse more independently. Path certified therapeutic riding instructors facilitate this program and are trained to use the horse as a conduit to help individuals achieve therapeutic goals. Specially trained volunteers serve to support the client under the direction of the certified therapeutic riding instructor. Independent adaptive therapeutic riding clients increase their skills without the assistance of trained volunteers. They learn techniques that accommodate their disability (see schedule o)adaptive therapeutic riding (continued):so independent horse care and management can be mastered. Individuals will work on advanced riding skills that can translate into skills and confidence necessary for living more independently. Many of these clients eventually may compete in local show team events. 50 individuals participated in adaptive therapeutic riding this year.

Other programming:th freedom reins: "th freedom reins" is aligned with a nationwide program that was created in 2007 by path and the veterans administration to assist america's wounded service personnel and veterans. Program participants include wounded service personnel and veterans with challenges such as: head and spinal cord injuries, amputation, auditory and visual impairments, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Specially trained instructors and/or therapists work with active-duty, discharged, and retired military volunteers to create a supportive, empathetic environment. Service personnel work on their own specific therapy, social, reintegration, and/or mental health goals. (see schedule o)other programming (continued): summer camps: the organization offers therapeutic and recreational camps for children and young adults with and without disabilities. These limited, small group opportunities are designed to enhance horsemanship and riding skills along with nature-oriented activities. Licensed therapists and/or path certified therapeutic riding instructors facilitate sessions to ensure everyone is able to enjoy and participate in group activities with personalization to each camper's skill level and interest. The summer camps program served 5 individuals.gaitway riding program: the gaitway riding program exists to offer horsemanship and riding lessons to typically developing individuals who are siblings, family members, or volunteers. These opportunities are designed to facilitate an inclusive community, further awareness, and strengthen client outcomes through shared experience and connection between all individuals. The gaitway riding program served 2 individuals.
