Mission
Treeslouisville is a catalyst for conserving and increasing the community's tree canopy to achieve and maintain a minimum of 45% overal canopy coverage. Our goals are: to catalyze broad civic engagement through public awareness that promotes preservaton and expansion of the louisville and reggional tree canopy as a necessary and invaluable asset; to optimize the public and private financial stewardship plan to increase the community tree canopy.

Tree planting projects: treeslouisville partners with jefferson county public schools (jcps), faith-based organizations, civic groups, louisville metro, and other non-government organizations to enhance the community's tree canopy
Advocacy and education: treeslouisville advocates for the preservation and enhancement of the community tree canopy through educational programs, presentations and publications for the general public and policy-makers.
