Along with animal surrender and adoption services, we also receive stray animals and provide safekeeping for animals who have been seized. In 2024, we were able to reunite 45% of the stray dogs we received and 7% of the stray cats we received with their people. While these numbers are well above the national average of 16% for dogs and 3% for cats, we hope to increase our return to owner rates by increasing our microchip services to the public. We offer microchipping at a low cost, and in 2024 we held six free microchip clinics in which we chipped 386 pets!

All pets adopted through us are spayed/neutered, given an external exam, treated for any noted parasites or infections, vaccinated, and microchipped. They are also provided with exceptional care, enrichment, and housing, and fed an appropriate diet.
