The tri-county ymca is a nonprofit organization that includes people of all ages and does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, sex, or national origin. The mission of the organization is "to put christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all." no person will be denied access to membership or a program based on inability to pay.

Programs

3 programs

The tri-county ymca after school programs served 275 children with affordable and nurturing child developement programming. We awarded $24,759 in financial assistance. The program serves children from pre-school to 5th grade and allows the parents the wrap around daycare that they need to provide for their families. The ymca incorporates its core values of faith, caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility into its daily activities.

Expenses: $125K

The tri-county ymca summer day camps provided full day care for 330 youths at 3 different locations. The camps provide educational and social experiences for children ages 5-12. The kids are given outdoor and indoor activities. In 2024 we provided $25,420 in financial assistance. By having multiple camp sites we are able to accommodate a wide variety of families and children. Children from a variety of backgrounds are able to participate and learn about the importance of the ymca character values of faith, caring, honesty, respect, and responsibilbility.
