TO CONTRACT A PRESERVATION COORDINATOR TO LEAD THE RESTORATION EFFORTS OF THE SHOTGUN HOUSE PROJECT AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF A HERITAGE CENTER THAT FOCUSES ON LOCAL BLACK HISTORY. TRIAD CULTURAL ARTS HAS BEEN LEADING AN EFFORT TO PRESERVE AND SAVE THESE TWO PROPERTIES. THIS PERSON WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR TRACKING AND ASSISTING IN PLANNING THE PHYSICAL PRESERVATION AND MAINTENANCE OF THE PROPERTIES, MONITORING AND REPORTING ON WORK PLANS, SCHEDULES AND CONSTRUCTION SPECIFICATIONS; SOLICITING ESTIMATES/QUOTES/BIDS FOR THE PRESERVATION WORK TO ENSURE THE BEST QUALITY AND PRICE AND RESEARCHING FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES. ADDITIONALLY, THIS PERSON WOULD COORDINATE WITH NEIGHBORHOOD GROUPS, CITY OFFICIALS, AND/OR OTHERS IN ORDER TO TRACK THE COMMUNITY'S PRESERVATION AND CONSERVATION CONCERNS AND TO ENSURE THAT THE SHOTGUN HOUSE PROJECT IS FULLY ENGAGED WITH LOCAL PRESERVATION, PLANNING, ASSIST IN DEVELOPING AND SUPPORTING PRESERVATION-FOCUSED INTERNSHIPS AND VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES.
