Mission
Trinity Community Connection has 5 programs; the largest is a ten-bed transitional (i.e., longer than 30 days) shelter with social services for LGBTQ+ youth and young adults who are experiencing homelessness. The other 4 programs are an after-school (currently closed), a weekly support group for Spanish-speaking neighborhood women, an annual Thanksgiving dinner, and a food pantry.

Mujeres En Progreso is a weekly support group for Spanish-speaking women who live in the neighborhood and who may be new to the United States. The group meets weekly and discusses individual concerns and participates in programming regarding health and wellness, domestic abuse, and AIDS prevention, together with access to local social and educational resources. The program is funded via small grants from individuals and philanthropic groups.
Community Thanksgiving Dinner - For over 25 years, a seat-down and take-out Thanksgiving meal has served over 1000 neighborhood residents. (In 2021, because of Covid, the meal was only take-out). The program is funded by individual cash donations and donated food. Organization, preparation, serving and cleaning are done by volunteers.
Food Pantry - This program provides a weekly sit-down dinner and emergency groceries to neighborhood residents. The program is funded by individual donations and grants.
