Troost Thrift Store Inc

T39 Ministry program offers assistance to those most in need, by partnering withsocial service agencies throughout the city, and welcoming as friends and neighbors all who come to our door.

With the aim to identify and develop local, aspiring Black artists to remain in Kansas City, Troost39 Thrift Store created a collective of artists is known as The Gift of Troost TGOT. Troost39 awarded 3,000 grants to selected recipients, conducted group gatherings for support every two-three months, and held an Art Showcase in order for these artists to sell their work. In addition, we have partnered with a strong local non-profit organization, Kansas City G.I.F.T., who provides such as artists with business education and promotion services.
