Leading on the Workforce Investment Board to create more apprenticeships and internships within industry. Launched workforce advocacy-focused webinars.

Connections - Hosted over 20 networking events. Relaunched Good Morning Tucson and Chamber Xchange. Over 60 ribbon cuttings, mixers and major events with over 2,000 attendees. Honored 55 small businesses and non-profits at the Wells Fargo presented Copper Cactus awards. Our workforce initiatives expanded to bring government, employers, education and workforce development, and marketing efforts together to address talent development and attraction. Hosted 4000 registrants combined at the business summit, UA Athletics mixer, State of the Region and Copper Cactus Awards.
