Tulalip Foundation

The tulalip foundation continued to partner with the hibulb cultural center (hcc) to on a donation campaign in support of the hcc's vision of "keeping the cultural fires burning." through their financial gifts, tribal members, tribal employees, and community members contributed to the legacy of hibulb cultural center, supporting its mission to keep the cultural fires burning and providing a foundation for life-long learning. In total, the greater tulalip community donated over $3,000 for the benefit of hcc education, conservation, cultural resources, rotating exhibitions, and the natural history preserve.

The tulalip foundation continued to partner with the tulalip office of civil legal aid (tocla), which provided legal assistance to low-income tribal members facing civil legal issues that affect their safety, family integrity, health, and access to public benefits, and education. The tulalip foundation administered two grants for tocla from the legal foundation of washington in 2024 a race equity grant that supported a youth advocate attorney and an accelerator grant that supported the youth advocate attorney and a reentry attorney.in addition, the tulalip foundation was awarded two grants for the benefit of tocla in 2024 a $236,349.12 grant from the national legal aid & defenders association through its national telephone abuse prevention project to support a consumer protection attorney from 2024 to 2027 and a $600,000 grant through the legal foundation of washington's native american & tribal communities grant program to support an education attorney and a reentry attorney from 2025 to 2027.
