Tce spark studios is a pilot space with a focus on the largest need in our creative community - an accessible recording studio. Spark studios is a community-centered recording studio in downtown tulsa that provides affordable access to high quality recording space and engineers, and a space to gather and work creatively. Spark studios offers a custom made vocal booth and state of the art microphones and production software and equipment for use. Engineers and artists were able to utilize the studio for recordings in their own time, and program activities included spark saturdays - open-house recording sessions where artists could drop in and participate in solo or group recordings with an engineer.
Tulsa creative engine is dedicated to empowering artists by providing access to a wide array of educational resources designed to enhance their skills, knowledge, and professional growth. Activities under this program umbrella include:music business accelerator - a 6-week artist development program that provides educational modules, creative support and entrepreneurial training for top talent;mental health video series - exploring the intersection between creativity and mental health and providing artists with insight and resources around mental health;tulsa connect - tulsa connect aims to foster a vibrant and interconnected artistic community by facilitating opportunities for tulsa-based artists to engage with, learn from, and contribute to creative communities nationwide. Through a holistic approach encompassing research trips, exhibitions, film screenings, creative exchanges, and residencies, tulsa connect strives to enrich the cultural landscape of tulsa and beyond, promoting innovation, collaboration, and cultural diversity.
