Mission
The purpose is for women of like mind to provide assistance for families in need of basics such as food, clothes, miscellaneous home items, school supplies and other help determined to be appropriate.

OAKLAND CHAPTER: The Oakland chapter had one fundraising activity in 2024 and two distribution events. The Annunal Holiday Party served 100 children who received Christmas presents, Back-To-School supplies, clothing and shoes, and grocery gift cards. 335 Martin Luther King Elementary School students received books while 102 of those students went ice skating and watched the movie "Wicked".
WASHINGTON DC METRO AREA CHAPTER: The Washington DC chapter had one fundraising activity in 2024, the annual holiday party. There were two distribution events serving a total of 65 children who received back-to-school supplies and Christmas presents.
ATLANTA CHAPTER: The Atlanta Chapter hosted a holiday party, raised funds and provided gifts for 160 students at sponsored school. They adopted a school, distributed Back-To School supplies, school uniforms and teacher supplies.
PHILADELPHIA:The Philadelphia chapter had one fundraising activity in 2024 and two distribution parties where 65 children received Back-To-School supplies and Christmas presents.
NEW YORK CHAPTER: The New York City chapter had one fundraising event and two distribution parties in 2024. The Back-to-School event served 250 children living in the Camba Family Shelter in Brooklyn with school supplies. In December 10 children received Macbook laptops donated to support The Dinner Table Doc intership program. The annual holiday fundraiser and a parternship with Reach Out and Read NYC rounded out the year.
LOUDOUN CHAPTER: The Loudon chapter held its annual Signature fundraising event with 270 guests in attendance. There were three distribution events including a Book Collection Drive, School Supply distirbution and Holiday Giving Program event which fulfilled personalized gift requests of children and provided food to ensure families could share holiday meals together, supporting 16 families and serving 36 children.
DETROIT CHAPTER: The Detroit chapter held four fundraising activities in 2024, the most the chapter has held in one year. Two distribution parties provided 44 children with presents for Christmas, and 231 students at Bunche Elementary School Detroit, MI received books for TDOC Detroit's READ Initiatie Program. A partnership with Jive Turkey provided 25 families with turkeys for Thanksgiving and the chapter was able to donate $250 to Gleaners Food Bank's Thanksgiving Food Drive with a match from Weingarten hwere every $1 donated provided three meals.
CHICAGO: In 2024, the Chicago Metro Chapter of 12 Days of Christmas proudly supported 10 families, including 40 children, through our annual holiday gift-giving initiative, bringing joy, dignity, and warmth to those in need during the festive season. This year also marked an exciting milestone: we hosted our inaugural fundraising event, Party with a Purpose: Sip n Sleigh, on November 17, 2024. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, donors, and attendees, the event raised over $24,000 to support our mission. No additional events were held in 2024, but the success of Sip n Sleigh has laid a strong foundation for future community engagement and impact.
